I was curious as my husband used to do what was called photo interpretation using specialized equipment to locate possible ancient sites that had not been looked at previously.

I found much of what he did is still being done. just with way better equipment! The author has certainly been all over the world and her 3,8/5. Archaeology from Space is, above all, a fun and inspiring book. It’s a little disorganized and contains tons of corny one-liners but still conveys the compelling enthusiasm of a scientist for her new branch of study.

In short, it most resembles the literary version of a Ted Talk. I do not necessarily mean this in a negative sense. In an era where public speaking seems bound by PowerPoint presentations and soundbites, Ted Talks 4,5/5.
